Flooded Basement

This flooded basement in Mason City, IA was the result of a sump pump failure. By the time home owner noticed the water accumulating, there was already a couple inches of water across 100% of the basement. First the owner called his insurance company to inform them of the situation that is happening. Next took to the internet to find out what he could do and who can help with this. Internet research lead him to SERVPRO of Mason City. After the call to us, he was informed we would be out with in the hour. Once we arrived SERVPRO began to extract water. After all the water was extracted we set up drying equipment to get things moving in the right direction. After couple days of moisture checks, it was decided that it would be best to remove all wood paneling because it began to warp and detach from the wall.
